The 12th Annual Silva Bay Shipyard School Launch Festival

April 17-18th 2010

The Silva Bay Shipyard School is celebrating its 12th annual boat launch festival. Over the past 12 years the school and its students have proudly launched over 30 beautiful wooden boats and trained hundreds of students in the ‘art of the wooden boat’. This year the festival is expanding! We have added a more formal ‘dock’ component to the festival and will showcase some demonstrations and more events for kids. The event is one for the entire family to come out and enjoy.
