Sanding, Filling, Paint, and Varnish

The last week of Boatbuilding 06/07 will see all the boats receiving detailed attention to cosmetics. Many hours of sanding, filling holes, various coats of paint, and numerous coats of varnish will go into each and every part. Spars are being finished, sails fitted, rigging sorted and blocks fitted, and waterlines and bottom paint are going on. All four boats have come together and will look stunning at the launch on Saturday.
My congratulations to each of the students, and best wishes in your future endeavors. And a special thank-you to the staff, well done to all involved.
