Accessible Web Search
Take note! Google has a new search, Accessible Web Search for the Visually Challenged, that brings the Web sites most accessible to screen readers, or that adhere most nearly to Accessibility Guidelines, to the top of the search results.
"Accessibility" refers to how accessible a Web site's content is, to the broadest range of users and devices; from people with low vision or tremors to screen readers and text browsers.

To use them to jump to a page, on Windows or Linux press the alt key and an access key; on Macs press the Ctrl key and an access key.
Presentation
If your browser doesn't support style sheets or if you want to turn the styling off, the unformatted content on each page is still readable and navigable. And, you can increase the font size without breaking the page layout. To turn off the page styling or to increase the size of the font, click on the View button on your browser and select either "text size" or "page style".
Web Standards Compliance
Every page on this site validates as XHTML 1.0 Strict, and uses structured semantic mark-up.* All presentation is separated from structure using CSS 2.0. Tables have been used only for tabular data.
*The Links page is valid natively; however, the Government of Canada sites' URLs have errors, which causes the page to be invalid.
